Today, Saturday, the American Space Exploration Technologies Corporation (SpaceX) launched 22 Starlink satellites into space.

A statement issued by the corporation stated that the Falcon 9 rocket carrying the satellites was launched from the Cape Canaveral Space Forces Base in the US state of Florida, noting that the rocket deployed the satellites from the upper stage of the rocket, about 65 minutes after its take-off.

The corporation stated that the first stage of the rocket successfully returned to Earth after about eight minutes, and landed on a SpaceX drone, which was stationed in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Florida.

The launch represents the sixty-fifth mission for SpaceX in 2023.

It is noteworthy that the sixty-fourth mission of SpaceX was launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California on September 12, and the Falcon 9 rocket was carrying 21 Starlink satellites.
