Residents of Bani Saad district in Diyala Governorate blocked a strategic road in protest against the deterioration of electricity.
A correspondent for / NINA / stated that “dozens of residents of Bani Saad district, southwest of Baqubah, blocked the old strategic Diyala-Baghdad road in protest against the deterioration of the district’s electricity supply and its interruption for hours, in addition to the fluctuation of the electricity current.
He added that the demonstrators demanded the formation of investigation committees to determine the reasons for the deterioration of electricity in the district.
