The Media Office of the Presidential Council reported that the President of the Council – Chairman of the Supreme Finance Committee, ‘Mohamed Al-Manfi,’ chaired today, Thursday, a financial meeting regarding public spending for the current year at the headquarters of the Central Bank, with the Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, ‘Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba.’ and the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Al-Siddiq Al-Kabir.
The office explained that the meeting was devoted to discussing government spending controls for the year 2024, controls for subsidizing fuel with all its derivatives, restoring it to its normal levels, and ensuring the supply of electricity stations.
The attendees stressed – according to the same source – the need for controls to contribute to improving citizens’ conditions in all aspects of living, coinciding with the approaching month of Ramadan.
