Prime Minister Muhammad Al-Sudani affirmed the government’s desire to build bridges of economic cooperation with Japan, and to open up to Japanese companies, in light of the availability of an appropriate environment for investment, and the availability of promising investment opportunities that would contribute to further development and prosperity.
A statement by his media office said that Prime Minister Mohammed Al-Sudani received, this morning, Sunday, the Japanese ambassador to Iraq, Futoshi Matsumoto, and discussed with him the bilateral relations between the two countries, and aspects of mutual cooperation in various fields, economic and cultural, and in the sectors of health and renewable energy.
The statement indicated that the common desire between Iraq and Japan to exchange visits at various levels was also emphasized.
