Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Zeina Toukan, met with Kristina Kanapinskaite, Head of Division for Lending Operation in the Public Sector in EU Southern Neighbouring Countriesat the European Investment Bank (EIB). Held on the sidelines of the seventh Brussels Conference on “Supporting the Future of Syria and the Region,” in Brussels, the meeting covered fundig priority projects within the economic modernization vision in the water sector, and additional funding for the national water carrier project, a Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation statement said Thursday. Opportunities and priority areas for cooperation with the EIB in the transport and education sectors were also discussed, the statement added.
