Official hails Egypt-Armenia ties as historical, deep

Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs Soha El-Gendi met with the Armenian High Commissioner for Expatriate Affairs Mr. Zareh Sinanyan within the framework of the presidential initiative “Revive the Roots”.

During the meeting, Ambassador Soha El-Gendi asserted that Egyptian-Armenian relations are historical, strong and deep. The Armenian people have been and still are part and parcel of the Egyptian people.

The minister also referred to the visit of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi as the first Egyptian president to visit Armenia in 30 years, in a positive step aimed at strengthening cooperation through partnerships in various fields to achieve fruitful results aimed at a better future for the two countries.
