Babylon Police Command announced today, Sunday, within the framework of its efforts aimed at enhancing security and stability, the implementation of comprehensive security operations that resulted in the arrest of 9 wanted persons and the recording of 64 various violations.
Babylon Police Director, Brigadier General Ali Al-Hasnawi, said, “The detachments of the field departments directorates, in cooperation with other security agencies, were able to arrest 8 of the wanted persons according to various legal articles in various areas of the governorate. It also recorded 62 traffic violations, and seized 3 violating vehicles.
He added, in other operations, the detachments of the Hilla-Qadisiyah checkpoint were able to arrest a wanted suspect according to Article 459 of the Penal Code.
He continued that the police transferred the accused to the competent authorities to investigate them.
