The Director of the European Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdul Rahman Khamada, expressed his thanks and appreciation for the efforts of the Head of the EU Border Assistance Mission in Libya (EUBAM), Natalina Chea, throughout her term as head of the mission.
In a remark at the ceremony organized by the Ministry for Cea in Tripoli on the occasion of the end of her work in Libya, Khamada said that the mission, during Cea’s presidency, cooperated with Libya’s authorities to provide technical and logistical support within the framework of combating illegal migration and cross-border organized crime.
The ceremony was attended by a number of ambassadors and charge d’affaires of EU countries accredited to Libya, a number of officials from the Ministries of Interior and Defense, and representatives of security authorities concerned with border security and management in Libya.
