LANA correspondent: The Libyan women’s health campaign continues in Al-Jofra.

Tripoli: The Libyan women’s health campaign team, supervised by the Therapeutic Services Support and Development Agency in Al-Jofra Municipality, continues its awareness and guidance campaign for women from the age of sixteen to fifty in the areas of Hoon, Wadan, Sokna, Zallah and Al-Foqha.

Doctor Rania Daboub, one of the team members, explained that this campaign was launched from the (Manara) of Aisha Bint Al-Siddiq and the Umm Al-Saad Jalala in the city of Wadan, with the attendance of the entire medical and assistant medical team and a large number of women, during which she gave a number of awareness lectures on how to treat and avoid common diseases among women and early detection of apparent symptoms, as well as diseases of newborns and women after childbirth.

For her part, the team leader Khadija Abdul Qader Othman said that the campaign also targets care for women about to give birth, contraceptives, diabetes, blood pressure, obesity, etc. Free examinations will also be conducted for women and data
of any patient will be recorded for follow-up and attention to any disease that is discovered.
