Minister of Social Development, Wafa Bani Mustafa, held discussions with the Qatari Ambassador to Amman, Sheikh Saud bin Nasser bin Jassim Al Thani, and his accompanying delegation on cooperation in the field of social services.
During the meeting at the ministry’s headquarters on Tuesday, Bani Mustafa highlighted the robust relations between Jordan and Qatar, attributing their strength to the wise leadership of both nations. She reviewed the ministry’s efforts in providing social services to targeted groups, emphasizing the impact on improving citizens’ quality of life and ensuring their well-being.
Bani Mustafa also pointed to the collaborative efforts to support the people of Gaza through the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization and addressed the ongoing hardships faced by the residents of the Strip.
The Qatari ambassador commended the strong ties between the two countries and expressed a desire for increased cooperation in social services.
