Immigration Minister Discusses with German Ambassador Enhancing Cooperation


The State Minister for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs discussed with the German Ambassador ways to enhance cooperation regarding the Egyptian-German Center for Immigration, Jobs and Reintegration affiliated with the Ministry. Ambassador Soha Gendi said that they were proud of the cooperation with the German side and considered it a model of fruitful bilateral cooperation.

The German Ambassador confirmed his aspiration for a new phase of fruitful partnership with the Egyptian Ministry of Immigration.

Ambassador Soha Gendy, State Minister for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs, received Ambassador Frank Hartmann, German Ambassador to Egypt, to discuss strengthening and launching a new phase of cooperation during the coming period. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Saber Soliman, Assistant Minister for Institutional Development, Professor Doaa Qadri, Head of the Central Administration for the Affairs of the Minister’s Office, Professor Sarah Maamoun, Assistant Minister for Projects and
International Cooperation, and Professor Karim Hassan, Media Advisor to the Ministry of Immigration.

For her part, Ambassador Soha Gendi, welcomed Ambassador Frank Hartmann, German Ambassador to Cairo, expressing that the cooperation with the German side is considered a model of successful bilateral cooperation, especially in the field of training and qualifying Egyptian workers for employment.
