Over the weekend, the Israeli army will carry out maneuvers in training areas in northern Israel.
This is what the Israeli army spokesman said in an unusual announcement. The army added that “entry into the training areas is prohibited and poses a danger to life and harms the activity of the forces. In addition, the sounds of gunfire and explosions can be heard in the nearby settlements.”
The IDF “asks the public not to enter restricted areas, and to allow IDF forces to continue carrying out their missions – this poses a danger to life and may contain explosives. These instructions save lives.”
