House of Representatives Government: Completion of maintenance of (Si Mansour) station in Benghazi.


The government assigned by the House of Representatives announced, on Saturday, the completion of maintenance of the “Si Mansour” station with a voltage of “220-30 kV” in the city of Benghazi and its return to the network after four hours of continuous work.

The government said, in a post on its Facebook page, that the maintenance of the station came based on the recommendations of the Emergency Committee of the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy regarding preserving the components of the electrical network and ensuring its stability.

According to the post, the maintenance work included replacing parts that needed to be changed, and examining all cable paths in the station to ensure their safety. After the work was completed, the teams conducted tests to verify the condition of the transformer, and then it was recharged and returned to service.

The post added that the “Si Mansour” station covers a wide geographical area, including the Sidi Khalifa area, the Qasr al-Tawil area, the Deriana area, a
nd the Mabni area.
