The Ministry of Health and Population has signed a cooperation agreement with the Egyptian Medical Society in the UK to raise the efficiency of health sector workers and boost medical tourism to Egypt. The agreement aims to ensure joint cooperation with a view to improving Egypt’s ranking on the medical tourism map and supporting the country’s economy; in implementation of relevant directives from the political leadership, Health Ministry Spokesman Hossam Abdel Ghaffar said in a statement Friday 02/02/2024. The spokesman pointed out to Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar’s keenness to make use of the facilities provided by the Egyptian economy and the State’s orientation to increasing the efficiency of manpower working in the health field, boosting confidence in the Egyptian health system, and upgrading medical services in accordance with local and global standards.
