Foreign Ministry urges citizens to avoid traveling to Lebanon


Amman: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates urged Jordanian citizens to avoid traveling to Lebanon for their safety in light of the current developments in the region.

The ministry’s spokesperson, Sufyan Al-Qudah, reiterated on Monday his call to Jordanian citizens residing and staying in Lebanon to take the utmost care and caution, stay away from areas witnessing tension, and abide by the instructions issued by the competent Lebanese authorities in this regard.

Al-Qudah also renewed his call to Jordanian citizens residing and staying in Lebanon to immediately register on the website of the Jordanian Embassy in Beirut through the following link: https://mfa.gov.jo/ar/embassy/Beirut/form, and to contact the ministry to request assistance around the clock through the following numbers:
