A security force thwarted a terrorist attack in the vicinity of an agricultural village, northeast of Baquba, the center of Diyala Governorate.
A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that a security force was able to thwart a terrorist attack on a security point stationed in the vicinity of the village of Zaghniyeh within the Waqf basin, northeast of Baquba, without recording any casualties.
He added that a joint security force began a wide combing operation to track down the terrorists.
