Basra Police arrested 5 people accused of assaulting two people with wounds.
The Basra Governorate Police Command stated: The detachments of the Qibla Police Station, in conjunction with the intelligence and the 4th Police Emergency Regiment, arrested 5 defendants after they assaulted two people using cutting tools in the Qibla area, and the tools used were seized.
It added: Legal measures were taken against them and they were referred to the judiciary.
