Amman: In the capital Amman, Al Haj Hassan suburb saw a dust collapse killed two individuals inside a ten-meter-deep vertical pit from which a three-meter-long horizontal tunnel extends, the Public Security Department (PSD) spokesperson said.
The report was handled by rescue and ambulance cadres in the East Amman Civil Defense Directorate, the international search and rescue team.
The spokesperson added that the rescue teams arrived at the scene of the accident right away and used equipment designed for similar situations to extract the two deceased from the rubble. Meanwhile, the ambulance services worked to transport the two deceased to Al-Bashir Governmental Hospital, and an investigation into the incident was launched.
