Paris – Ma’an – The Groupama Stadium in Lyon will host the Iraqi national football team’s match against its Argentine counterpart this evening, Saturday, in the second round of the group stage at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
The match will start at 16:00 Mecca time, 13:00 GMT.
The Iraqi and Argentine national teams are in Group Two, along with Morocco and Ukraine.
The Lions of Mesopotamia made a great start by beating Ukraine 2-1, while Argentina suffered a “painful” defeat against Morocco 1-2 in the first round.
The Iraqi team is looking forward to achieving a positive result from today’s match to get closer to booking a ticket to the quarter-finals, while Argentina must win to avoid an early exit.
