Criminal Research and Training Center organizes a training course in the area of cybersecurity.

A training course organized by the Criminal Research and Training Center on Cybersecurity in the area of cybercrime in the context of migration was launched yesterday, in cooperation with the International Center for the Development of Migration Policies, and funded by the European Union and the Swiss Confederation.

The Office of the Attorney General stated that the course, which is held at the center’s headquarters, will last for three days, with the participation of 20 members of the prosecution from the Public Prosecutor’s Office, public lawyers’ offices, primary prosecutions, and partial corruption crimes prosecutions.

The trainees learn the basics of cybersecurity and cybercrime, how to protect information structures, and ways to deal with mixed threats, in addition to studying virtual currency and its use in money laundering crimes related to the smuggling of migrants and human trafficking, in addition to the international agreements related to cybersecurity and cybercrime.
