The security services arrested an accused of promoting narcotic drugs in Baquba, the center of Diyala Governorate.
A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency /NINA: ‘The accused was arrested near the industrial complex west of Baquba, and a quantity of narcotic pills was seized in his possession.’
He added: ‘The accused was handed over to the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control Department in Diyala Police.
