Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, stressed the importance of revitalizing bilateral relations between Iraq and the United Kingdom at various levels.
The Office of the Deputy Speaker of Parliament stated: “Today, Al-Mandalawi met in his office today with Sarbaz Al-Barzanji, Mayor of Lambeth County in the City of London, and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of a number of MPs.”
Al-Mandalawi stressed the importance of revitalizing bilateral relations between Iraq and the United Kingdom at various levels, especially the political and economic levels, as well as the necessity of exchanging experiences in the service, educational, health, and other fields. There was also talk about Iraq’s pivotal role in achieving regional and global stability, and restoring its position through its ability to play the role of mediator, reduce tensions, and bring the parties together at one table.
