Head of the State of Law Coalition Nouri al-Maliki received the head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, head of the Arab Journalists Federation, Mu’ayyad al-Lami.
Maliki stressed, according to a statement by his media office, his pride in journalists for the sacrifices they have made during Iraq’s eventful journey locally and internationally.
He stressed the need to combine all efforts, from various segments of Iraqi society, in order to build a solid state that aims to achieve the well-being of the Iraqi people, expressing his appreciation and pride in journalists for the sacrifices they have made during Iraq’s eventful journey locally and internationally, and working to consolidate national unity and build and reconstruct Iraq.
In turn, the head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Mu’ayyad al-Lami, expressed his thanks to al-Maliki for his support and sincere cooperation with the Iraqi journalistic family.
