Al-Dabaiba dismisses Libya’s ambassador to Belgium, Amal Al-Jarari, from her position

The Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, on Tuesday, dismissed the Libyan Ambassador to Belgium, Amal Al-Jarari, from her position.

The Prime Minister’s decision, in his capacity as Minister of Foreign Affairs, stipulated “terminating the secondment of the Libyan Ambassador to Belgium, Amal Al-Jarari, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and referring the procedures for relieving her to the Presidential Council.”

Al-Dabaiba also issued a decision to relieve the financial attaché at the Libyan embassies in Germany and Belgium, “Abu Bakr Al-Salihin,” from his work abroad and return him to his previous work inside Libya.

It is noteworthy that the decision to relieve Al-Jarari from her position came after the spread of the leak of an audio recording attributed to her and related to financial corruption files at the embassy.
