ADQCC approves ‘Abu Dhabi Agricultural Maintenance Guidelines’ technical document

The Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (ADQCC) has approved the “Abu Dhabi Guidelines for Agricultural Maintenance Operations” prepared by the Department of Municipalities and Transport in collaboration with the Environment Agency, Agriculture and Food Safety Authority, Tadweer, Abu Dhabi Distribution Company, Al Ain Distribution, and representatives from the private sector.

This came during a meeting held by Abu Dhabi Technical Standard, chaired by Brigadier Jassim Al Harmoudi, First Vice Chairman of the Standard Technical Committee, which includes 37 members representing 25 government entities.

The guide aims to standardise the criteria and procedures for maintaining agricultural assets to support maintenance operations, increase asset efficiency, preserve assets, and highlight the environment’s aesthetic appeal.

The document is a guide that helps individuals, specialists, interested parties, and operation and maintenance contractors follow the best methods and practices to preserve agricultural a
ssets and provide the highest service levels.

The guide is very important for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi as it contributes to improving the efficiency of maintaining agricultural assets, preserving them, highlighting the aesthetic face of the environment, and improving the quality of life.

Al Harmoudi said, “The outputs of the Standard Technical Committee work come as a result of the Council’s efforts to achieve its vision to upgrade the quality infrastructure and contribute to enabling the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to stand out globally.”
