The Diyala Police Command has adopted a new strategy to pursue wanted persons and disarm unlicensed weapons in the province.
The official spokesman for the Diyala police, Colonel Haitham Al-Shammari, told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the police forces carried out security practices in a number of Baquba areas within the strategy of tracking down wanted persons and disarming unlicensed weapons.
He added, “Security practices are implemented according to specific objectives to enhance security stability. Pointing out that security practices came to prevent any unlicensed weapons in alleys and residential neighborhoods.”
