A joint force from the National Intelligence Service and the Directorate of Combating Organized Crime in Babylon, based on accurate intelligence information, was able to carry out a tight ambush that resulted in the arrest of four suspects specialized in smuggling and selling antiquities today, Wednesday.
A source in the force said, “The force found a valuable collection of antiquities in the possession of the accused, including coins dating back to previous eras.
He added that the police transferred the accused to the competent authorities for investigation and the seized items were preserved.”
