Baghdad, The General Directorate of Narcotics Affairs announced today, Sunday, the seizure of 3 kg of crystal in the possession of a network of drug traffickers in Diyala.
It said in a statement: ‘As part of a series of specific operations and painful strikes carried out by the General Directorate of Narcotics Affairs against drug trafficking networks, and based on accurate information, the Diyala Narcotics Affairs Directorate was able to overthrow a network that worked to introduce drugs and trade them with mercury into the country.’
It added that “the network included three drug traffickers who were caught red-handed,” indicating that “legal measures were taken against them in accordance with judicial decisions so that they would receive their just punishment.”
